Yahoo now allows Facebook and Google logins

Yahoo has been quite a lot in the news lately for infamous reasons. First, they were terminating most services which Y! acquired in the previous years. Now, Y! is losing new signups to services like Flickr as few were interested in sitting through the Yahoo! signup process to access flickr. Yahoo! has taken note and has introduced Login with Facebook and Login with Google options.

Users who dont have a yahoo! account can now just use FB or GOOG login to access Yahoo!’s services like flickr. Yahoo! was once a prominent name when it came to emails, but was soon replaced by Google’s GMAIL. By opening Yahoo Network to Google and Facebook users, Y! hopes to make more people to use its services.
