Google launches “Adwords Business Credit Card”
Google has launched a pilot program in UK offering credit ranging from $200 (approx. £125) to $100,000 (approx. £62,000) a month at a highly competitive rate of 11.9 per cent.
This was piloted in the US last year with a select set of beta customers, 74% of whom decided to stick on with the card after a year long pilot run. And now Google has partnered with the Barclays group in the UK and Comenity Capital Bank in the U.S. to issue the card. Both cards are MasterCard. Google began inviting small and medium sized business to join the program since Sunday (Oct 07 2012).
Google also stated that it would have credit percentage rates of 8.99 in the US and 11.99 in the UK for the cards.
More details regarding the card can be found at AdWords’ Help Center.
