iPad Browser Simulator
Here is a great way to try out iPad on your Browser. Maps and Safari apps work properly with the Simulator. Features like screen sliding, list of apps on the screen, some working buttons and time display are accurate. However, the simulator is just for trying out the User Interface of the iPad and cannot do any full-fledged tasks like running a third party app.
You can try it out here: http://alexw.me/ipad/

The in-browser simulator is NOT useful for compatibility testing. It rendered my HTML site without styles, and displayed a Flash site perfectly. I just found it frustrating to see how beautiful it would be to have Flash on the device…
Seems to work pretty well for me. I specifically tested this on a page with some flash and it did not display the flash.
I'm having trouble with a site the client wants to render properly on various tablets. I myself do not use a tablet so need a reliable way to test the site. I have tried a bunch of so-called emulators and the site looks fine (some sidways scrolling needed sometimes but then it has a set width of 1000px. I need to reproduce the problems they see when using their actual devices. Any suggestions for tools? Thanks!
Load of rubbish… it's just an iframe.
Thanks for this simulator, its great apps anyway.
