Latest PS3 3.56 firmware hacked and jailbroken
Latest PS3 3.56 firmware has been hacked and jailbroken in less than a day after it was officially released. The 3.56 firmware update adds a security patch and it features a new encryption key that is capable of wiping out all current homebrewd functionality of your PS3. Hence, it is not advisable that you do the update if you have made some custom patches.
Sony has been proven the fact time and time again that it doesn’t take long for the hacking community to break any PS firmwares or updates that it releases. In fact, this time, it took less than 24 hours for hackers to break 3.56 firmware and obtain the security keys! The infamous Wii hacker, Youness Alaoui (aka KaKaRoToKS) is behind this latest hack.
