It will run, but not as it is intended to.. Gameplay may not be smooth.. ATI Radeon 9500 or greater is recommended..

Radeon 9200 series supports only upto 1.4 pixel shaders and the min sys reqs suggest a Pixel shader 2.0 compatible card .. so, many rendering effects would be disabled..
Game performance would also depend on your processor-ram combination.
So if You want to see something or would like to try full version of Vista ultimate pre-activated
tell me about on the email.Because I have DVD disc which is booting and no problem with all.In installation process not asking for any key.

i have a xp and vista both on my laptop and when i try to play nfs pro street on xp its just goes black and then comes bak to desktop like it flashes thats all like it crashed on desktop…and on the da other hand wen i play on vista it starts and i get to go in main menu and everything but then wen i start the race like wen it loads the game it never loads and jus crashed to desktop…i jus want to start dis on xp like it starts on vista cuz i know on xp it wont crashes….mah specs r

This game will not run on an AMD 3200 under XP with ati 9600, it is so slow it kills XP 32bit. However it will run under XP 64bit but I lose all my other drivers since I can't find x64 drivers for all my devices. That sucks.
I don't know what those programmers expect at EA games, but this game is one that I will have to play after I upgrade to a 4Ghz CPU with all the new driver support fixes. It is really not worth my time to dicker around just to play some game that I can't enjoy because there is no support for my hardware in 64 bit. EA should make it run fine under XP 32 bit, but they didn't, I guess I will have to drop the NFS series.

It works, Just with carbon copy you need to switch that to windows 98 mode. (if you are using it in vista I've got my games in the high resolution and it seems to be working prostreet is a little slow but it's usable

rtfm!!!! it clearly says fx5950 or greater, a 5200 is a throw away card. in fact a fx 5200 is only good for a wanking machine
a 2400hd will do fine, in fact it should run pretty sweetly on your specs
so the ATI 2400XT HD graphics card is fine….but what abt my processor? The game says 3.0Ghz for vista, but I have only 2.7Ghz. Will my processor be ok? By the way it is 2.7Ghz DUO Core so will that be fast enough?

Guys yesterday I bought, Intel Core 2 Extreme QX 9650. 4 gb of ram, 2x Nvidia Geforce 8800 Gt, 750 gb hard drive, and NFS PS is running really good, with the highest video resolutions. I definitely recommend Core 2 Extreme, for people who want to play real games.

The Problem is your graphics card the nvidia fx 5500 is a piece of shit that should be thrown out the window like a frizbee, mine went about 10 meters and hit a car, i had to run away really fast! it doesn't work with pro street, it doesn't work with anything made nowadays. You need to replace the card with a pc express 16x card, if your motherboard doesn't support it, get a new mother board.

if your computer is less then the minimum then it probably wont run, rule of thumb is if ur computer is 10% less than any of the specs (apart from graphics and directx) it will run, stop asking stupid questions and just play
